BOONS OF STRESSFUL LIFE.

With proper handling of stressful situations malevolence of stress can be turned into benevolence of gains. For this we need to adopt positive thinking and a healthy lifestyle.
Stress is a part of modern life. With modernisation, industrialisation, urbanization and globalization, the stress level of an individual has increased. Stress results when human body and mind are dominated by forces that disrupts their equilibrium. These adverse forces may be physical in the form of injury, psychological in the form of fear, hurt or anxiety. It is true that stress is considered a curse and is harming the society with stress related ailments. Incidentally, stress in itself is not a disease but if left unmanaged it becomes the source of strain, anxiety and various stress related disorders.
But such a situation only occurs when stress is not wisely handled. With proper utilisation this stress can be transformed into a boon to combat many worldly problems more effectively and can be a blessing in disguise. For this, we need to adopt the right attitude towards life,positive thinking and a healthy lifestyle.
The first point to note is that stress is a messenger and not a message, a warning, not worry. We would have been deprived of many precious opportunities and gifts,which nature and life wish to bestow on us. 
The first invaluable boon of stress is that it creates wakefulness but it is our pessimistic mindset that mistakenly treat this wakeup call as a threat and gets panicked. Stress is a wonderful activator of body and mind ,where activity of mind reaches a feverish pitch which cannot be imagined in normal circumstances. Nervous system and endocrine glands gets organized and fully alert.
There is single point convergence of all concentration on solving the stress problem. Power of imagination and analysis, quickeness of decision making and other mental capabilities multiply thousand times by the right utilisation of stress. Body also develops better adaptability to new situations and its overall working efficiency increases.
But in order to get all these gains is that, in times of stress,our conduct should not be guided by cowardly panic and the tendency to runaway.
If we orient ourselves in this direction, stress will be transformed from a bane to a boon.
