Incidentally, stress in itself is not a disease and the body has been provided with the capability to deal with such a situation but when such situation of stress continues for longer period it leads to many stress related disorders.
In view of the fact that stress is unavoidable in our day to day life the question arises whether it is possible to maintain a healthy life in such a situation? The answer is that there is a way to have a healthy life in present stressful world. It only requires attitudinal changes towards life i.e. life with a positive attitude and effort to inculcate a “be happy” attitude.
Happiness is what everyone is seeking but majority seeks it in material things. No happiness can be ever be found in material things. Happiness is a pleasing and desirable position of mind and heart. Many of our worries and unhappiness are rooted in our own imagination and our not real. Happiness is thus the state of mind vanish evil from your thoughts, nourish the good ones, it is a very simple formula for goodness and happiness. Thus if we dwell on happy thoughts we will be happy.
Lord Krishna and Jesus Christ gave the world the greatest sources of eternal knowledge contained in Bhagwat Gita and Bible. In both epics eternal rules of happiness have been enumerated. The Quran too release the secret of perfect happiness. The basic principle is to avoid hatred, anger, worry and frustration by understanding that every event cannot have a happy ending. Failure is inevitable quite often. Try to be an optimist, have faith in yourself and do not expect too much from anyone else. It is the readjusted mental attitude of “Be happy “ i.e required for mental happiness.
